Why Seattle Tower Crane Inspection?
Seattle Tower Crane Inspection (STCI) is a Seattle based crane consulting firm that provides many services to clients from New York, Chicago, LA, Portland, and of course Seattle. As our name would suggest, Our specialty is Tower Cranes. With years of experience as an Erector, Operator, and now Inspector, I believe that our inspections are second to none. Something that goes hand in hand with tower cranes are Construction Hoists. I spent years erecting these as well and provide inspections according to ANSI A10.4 which will ensure their compliance and structural integrity.

Other services offered by Seattle Tower Crane Inspection include Mobile Crane and Articulating Crane Certifications. We are licensed by Washington State to certify these pieces of equipment.

Rigging
Rigging is subject to failure just like any other item. I inspect rigging and give a comprehensive report as to my findings. It’s often surprising even to me with what I will find out in the field. I’ve even found a manufacturer of a hoisting device had been welding on a shackle for years. Eliminating exposure to liabilities is central to what I do. At the same time I am happy to educate while I inspect.

Crane and Hoisting Consultation
We all have our areas of strengths and weaknesses. Understanding the requirements and how to hoist safely is one of my strengths. I can help review your programs or plan for that pick that you aren’t used to seeing. My experience in working with cranes pushing the limits for the last decade gives me a unique perspective.

Expert Witness
Helping people outside of the craning community understand what it is we do can be vital to a case. I am licensed in two states (the only two states that license crane inspectors) in regards to all of the regulations on cranes. From towers down to the small boom truck. As an inspector, operator, and ironworker, few people have a more diverse and qualified background than myself.
